It means more than a ballgame, cookout, swim party, or any such otherwise worthwhile pastime. Isn't it worth a minute of your time to reflect on the meaning and importance of the day? Our Founding Fathers thought the cause it honors worthy of their "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor." The least we can do it treat the day and the legacy it represents with honor and respect. Dignify the day with illuminations, fireworks, gunshots, parades, and all manner of celebratory activities. But celebrate for what it means, not because it's a day off from work!</B></div> </td> </tr></table></body>
